Well, the first moment was pretty exciting.
Customs was a breeze, weather was chilly but bearable.
Everything was new and cool.
Then on the way to USC, it started to rain.
That was just the beginning of our bad day.
In a nutshell, we went walking around in the freezing rain to find the car we had bought.
Not very familiar with the roads, so we got lost a whole damn lot, sky was dark, rain was cold and wet, we were miserable.
More problems about insurance and Californian driving license surfaced.
Eventually, we managed to locate the damn car and drive to our hostel for the first night.
It was a pretty noisy hostel but well, can sleep can liao.
Oh, first meal in US.
Dinner!
Mexican food :/
What I had was basically just eggs, rice, and beans.
It was...edible..
Lets just say, Mexican food just doesnt do it for Singaporeans.
Cos theres Mexican taste which we're not used to.
But ok lah, still can eat.
