4 Feb- Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens!
Ok its such a scam, there were so lil flowers.
Lots of green grass, green trees, and green leaves.
All green. It was more like a jungle.
Maybe cos of the winter season but still...sigh..
Not to say there weren't any flowers at all.
Theres just less, as compared to Huntington previously.
Orange flower!

More orange flowers!

Actually, there were alot of orange flowers around and everywhere.
Novelty kinda wore off.
Then more driving, and more stopping along the way.
After Death Valley, any other scenery just seems so unimpressive.
Waiting for the next big WOW scenic place to come along..

Reached Solvang.

Its smth like Chinatown and Little India.
Only this is Danish-town.
Danish people, Danish language, and Danish food.
Bought really excellent chocolates, regretted not buying more! :((
Want a taste of heaven? Just get the damn chocolates!! :).....
A very pretty and quiet town.

Cant afford to visit Europe?
Just visit Solvang for some Danish culture.
Nice food and nice people and just very chillax...

That night, we stayed in the best hotel room so far.
Most spacious.
And there was actually a mini-kitchen in the room!
We were lucky cos market price of that room was around 300/night.
However, since the hotel was located in quite an ulu place and surrounded by competitors, the price was like drastically reduced.
atas Holiday Inn Suite for the price of economical Holiday Inn Express.
Only downside?
No complimentary breakfast the next day :(
